Introduction to Family History

In 1993 AD (1372 AD), the father of the deceased (Mr. Ali Asghar Rofougaran) and one of his cousins, Mr. Hassan Rofougaran, published the genealogy of the Rofougaran family and printed and published a valuable resource in more than 250 pages, and copied it for free between All relatives and interested parties distributed.

During the more than 30 years that have passed since the publication of this collection, this family has undergone changes like many others, unfortunately many have left this world and some others have joined us. In addition to that, there have been many mergers and, unfortunately, separations.

The motivation and interest of the new generation in knowing the identity and family roots has increased more than in the past, and today’s youth attach a special value to it. Today, using “Ancestry” systems, many companies in Europe and America are working to find relatives through DNA matching and link families together.

My son Mehdi and I came across a surprising result by using “rooting” of one of these companies, and that each of us has hundreds of relatives (or “cousins” in the so-called French language), not only in Iran, Rather, we have it in all parts of the world.

It is interesting to note that some relatives whose fathers changed their surnames from Rafugaran to other names such as Asim, Tahririan, Nazem, Sahaipour, etc. were also found in the collection of “Tabar” of Rafugaran and remained in this family circle. are left We are all cousins of each other who shared a common ancestor

My honorable uncle, Mr. Qasim Rafugran, who resides in Paris with his respected family, asked me to update this collection. After a lot of study and consultation with my son, Mehdi and other people involved, I came to the conclusion that the best way to provide a lasting collection is to use internet “genealogy” systems. We went to several computer institutes and finally signed a contract with one of them which is located in “McLean, Virginia” in the suburbs of Washington DC, the capital of America. The very nice Iranian young man who is in charge of this company used the previously published book as the main source, and from now on it is the responsibility of me and the rest of the “refugees” to complete this collection.

Please complete the attachment form and send it to me with the photo. For each name, one individual photo (6×4) is required. If you wish, you can send other photos (personal or family) that will be printed in the background attachment.

Everyone’s cooperation and help in sending their information and their respected family will help me and my son Mahdi to achieve this goal. Our goal is to create a dynamic “family tree”. We no longer resort to printed books, but by updating this treasure, the latest changes and developments in the family will be reflected, and family members will be informed about each other’s current affairs by referring to it. After the completion of the website, the main work will be assigned to you, dear colleagues. We ask you to keep us updated on births, marriages, and possibly deaths. Thank you.
